Best of N Rummy

Best of N Rummy Game

Best of N Rummy is an online rummy game where chips are assigned to players at the start of the game for a predetermined number of offers. In this format, whoever is the winner wins all the chips at the end of each deal. The player with the maximum number of chips at the end of all bids is declared the winner of the game.

How to play Best of N Rummy

At the beginning of the game, a draw is held to decide which player will make the first move along with the wild-card selection, after which each player receives 13 cards at random. Once the cards have been dealt, the first card in the pack is placed face up to form the open deck, and the remaining cards are placed face down to build the closed deck.

The objective of the Rummy game is to organize all the cards in hand in sets/sequences choosing a card from the open or closed deck and discarding one in the open deck. A player requires at least 2 sequences to win the game; however, it is mandatory to have at least 1 pure sequence. Once the objective is achieved, a card must be discarded in the arrival slot to declare the sets and sequences.

A player can earn a maximum of 80 points in Deals Rummy, regardless of the cards they have. Points are limited to 80, and anything below 80 is awarded to players in Deals Rummy.

Winner's scores

The first player to meet the objective of the online rummy game wins the chip sum of all losing players.

Calculation of points for losing players

In rummy offers, each card carries a certain number of points. The losing player accumulates points based on the cards he has.

Below is a breakdown of points by cards:

Aces of any suit carry 10 points each

Kings of any suit carry 10 points each

Queens of any suit carry 10 points each

Cats of any suit carry 10 points each

All other rummy cards have points based on their numerical values. For example, card 7 of any suit has 7 points and card 4 of any suit has 4 points.

Wildcards (wild and printed) have zero points.
