Privacy Policy
Silk Rummy is a simple website. We have designed it to work without collecting personal information about you.

Last updated: 31 October 2026
The short version
- There are no accounts, no sign-up and no log-in.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or any other personal data through the site.
- Your game progress and saved scores stay in your own browser, on your own device.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
Data stored in your browser
The rummy game and some tools (such as the score trackers) save things like your current game, settings and scores using your browser’s localStorage. This information:
- is stored only on your device, inside your browser;
- is not sent to us, and we cannot see it;
- stays until you clear it.
You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for silkrummy.com, or by using a private or incognito window, which usually clears it when closed.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the site is served by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider’s servers may automatically record standard technical information, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are used for running and securing the service. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We do not currently use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page before or when that happens, explain what is collected and why, and offer any choices required by law.
Fonts
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads a font, Google receives standard request information such as your IP address. Please see Google’s own privacy policy for how it handles this.
Links to other websites
We may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.
Children
The site does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because there are no accounts and nothing is sent to us, there is no personal data for us to hold.
If you email us
If you choose to write to us, we will receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and will not share it or add you to any mailing list.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
